How we live, work and spend our time, and for many people, it represents both their largest investment and the place where some of their most important memories are made. This is what drew Harrison to property in the first place. After training in valuation at Lincoln University and beginning his career in research at CBRE, he managed a $135 million national property portfolio, ran his own construction company, and worked in commercial sales and leasing.
That experience has given Harrison an understanding of property from multiple perspectives - valuation, ownership, construction and sale.
More importantly, it has shaped how he approaches his career. For Harrison, the why, how and who matter more than the what: why the work matters, how it is done, and who he chooses to do it with. That philosophy is what brought Harrison to residential real estate and to Ray White Ōrākei, working alongside Raj Sharma.
He believes the right people, the right values and the right approach create better outcomes for the people that call the Eastern Bays home.
Real estate is the career Harrison lives and breathes, and the part he enjoys most is the people. He brings knowledge, judgement and tenacity to every transaction, while recognising the trust involved when someone places a lifetime of memories and one of their largest assets in his hands.
